The novel 20,000 leagues under the sea is very interesting. It contains many adventurous scenes which is perfect for our genre. This novel starts off very intense with the sinking of ships. These ships start getting wrecked by a submarine that never reaches land. One day a professor, a harpuna, and a assistant were trying to investigate what was causing all these ships to sink. As they wondered the area they considered it to be a creature causing these disasters.
Soon after, their ship gets wreaked but the professor as well as the harpuna, and the assistant survived the wreckage of the ship. As they are floating on the water the submarine submerges and they become captives of the owner of the submarine. As they are captured the captain tells them that they can do as they please but that they will never be able to leave and that now they are members of the crew.
