Decision Time

I rushed out of the car, out of breathe and out of time. A single tear ebbed from my eye as I watch the two boats take ship. "I am too late..."

holographic darkness a sci-fi short story

Beauty Slain

It was a hot, muggy night and I found myself stuck in the corner of a West Indian fete. Constantly being soaked by the rum and red bull, that sloshed around in my cup. Two women danced on me while I stood, awkwardly and then I saw her. Our eyes met, hers slanted and lined with black and silver eyeliner. She smiled and licked her lips seductively, while she grinds on three men simultaneously. Gunshots rang out like a song and she fell to the ground with a peaceful smile.

Last Goodbye (50 word flash fiction)

The car bounced as it ran on the rusty tracks to the place where we first met. I closed my eyes and pictured her blue eyes, her soft lips, and her long black hair. The last words she whispered to me on her deathbed before I left was, "I do".
