it's not summer without you

Hey, how many of you always want your summer to be the best? Of course, everyone wants their summer to be the best without anything bad happening while they enjoy the summer. Well, it doesn't seem to be happening here in the book I'm reading.

I decided to choose romance as my genre, and the book I'm solo reading is it's not summer without you, by Jenny Han. Which is part of the Belly Conklin Summer series.
It begins with Belly imagining her ideal summer which she usually have, but it soon goes back to reality of what really is happening. Belly doesn't seem to be having a good time as Susannah, Belly's mother's best friend, died recently. After they held a funeral for Susannah, Belly said something to Conrad, one of Susannah's son, and regrets saying it as Conrad happens to disappear. Now Jeremiah, also Susannah's, along with Belly and Taylor is going to look for Conrad. A little before this, Belly was at a party and Taylor told Belly that she should go out with Cory, a boy who is interested in Belly. But Belly doesn't want to be with Cory at first and wants to be with Conrad.

I find this book interesting as it occasionally changes POV, the main POV is Belly's and sometimes changes to other characters, such as Jeremiah. Also the title itself makes it sound like it will be a romance novel. Above all else, this novel seems to be a romance tragedy type of novel as it has some death in it. I think it will be a good book for anyonewho is doing romance as their genre, it may not take you long as its about 300 pages long.
