X Marks The Spot
After ending chapter seven in Treasure Island, a reader can feel many different ways about the story. After getting a slow start on their voyage, Jim receives a letter from Squire Trelawney that directs him in the right direction as it describes his ship and crew that has been obtained. The book is a "all over the place" book because most of the characters age as the book proceeds. Jim who is about twelve years old in the beginning, goes from the cabin boy to the captain of his ship during his whole voyage in search for the treasure. All characters have a well played role as they all affect each other on the ship. Overall, this book is a must read for anyone who is in for a nice adventure.
