The Man Out of Time

Don't be fooled by the title. It's not Sci-Fi but a Romance novel. In The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, Henry is a time-traveler who has no control over his power. Because of time traveling, he meets Clare at the age of six and from then on, she has known him all his life. He travels in and out of her life. When they finally meet when she is 20 years old, Henry doesn't know who she is. Where he time travels, he doesn't know what time he is in and whom he has befriended. At this point, he knows that this girl will change his life forever.

It was very difficult trying to figure out how old he is and in what time he's in and how old Clare is as well. As I got used to it, it seems to be a hard life for Henry because he at first didn't know what he was doing when he first time traveled. I think that Clare is that key to making him feel better and to realize that he has the one person to depend on when he is feeling lost or unsure of himself.

So far, I am enjoying this book very much because it keeps me on my toes and it makes me WANT to pay attention, especially to the year and how old he is and what he is doing at the moment that affects his future, which he seems to know the outcome of. Although this is my first 50 pages, I recommend to fans of romance out there who love a bit of adventure because it will make you confused but fall in love with Niffenegger's way with words and the way she plots out the story.
