50 Word Story
Jake was inserted in the Afghan mountains to eliminate a high value target. We were called on to evac him out. It was cold, we didn't know if he would make it. He was a SEAL, a warrior, best of the best. He wrote to me a few years later.
Kind of like the James Bond type of story, one guy sent in to take out a high priority target, being considered one of the best, and using whatever he can in order to get the job done.
Can also relate to the recent killing of Osama Bin laden, i liked it because i could make that connection between your short story and current real life events.
