The Shining Review so far...
I've started to read The Shining by Stephen King. I am really enjoying it so far, its weird to be reading a horror novel during the spring time. I'll be walking down the street in the sun and all of a sudden I get really scared. The book is written from different perspectives in each chapter. Starting with the main character Jack Torrance, who is an interesting man struggling with his past and alcohol and temper problems. After getting fired from his previous job at a prep school in Vermont for his temper he agrees to stay and watch a Hotel with his family (Wife Wendy, and son Danny) for the winter. However, this Hotel has had many "tragedies" and there definitely seems to be something off about it. Every time I read something interesting pops up and so far they are just adjusting to the house, and I learn more and more about the characters with each chapter. This is fun!
