Will I Make It Out Of Here.. (Fifty word story)

I hear dogs bark, the little footsteps of rats searching for food. I begin to wonder will I reach the end of this long path, will I reach where I see light? Or will I be forced to physically escape my way out of here, fighting for my freedom against earth's vicious creatures.
