Horror Novel.

The Shining by Stephen King is definitely a freaky novel. I have never read a soled horror novel before so I didn't know how scared I'd be reading one. This book doesn't scare me as much as a horror film does due to its slower pace and lack of the sound but some of the scenes give me chills because they are so creepy.
