Dracula Comparison to Frankenstein

I've just started Dracula!
I am already seeing so many similarities between it and Frankenstien. Jonathan Harker is making his way through Europe and it starts with a diary entry by him. This reminds me of the letters that start out Frankenstein. The innkeeper’s wife tells Harker that on the eve of St. George’s Day, “all the evil things in the world will have full sway.” This is Dracula cominnng to town! I'm excited!!!!

  1. The story gets much much better. You're still in the boring stages of the book.

  2. I agree Layla! I found that Dracula and frankenstein are really similar because in the story Jonathan is traveling north to Transylvania and he is keeping a journal about his journey to Castle Dracula. And i found that the innkeepers wife was an interesting character because she represents the way that the people of the town all view Dracula. They are all afraid of him. Cant wait to keep reading!
